I was on the prowl locally for this offer, I couldnt find anywhere locally either.

Still £1.05.9 here in East Anglia.

If fuel keeps increasing I may have to sell a Kidney to help with the weekly fill up.

DAME You Shell i filled my tank from fumes on sunday!! 55 quid!! im sure its not that big a saving anyway, but isnt V-power the best fuel, i did 2000 miles last month and started on tescos super unleaded, then stopped at a BP for ultiy and it was a little down i thought but nothing major them i stopped and filled at a shell garage and with in 10 miles she was a different car, yes its a MK 4 but shes Revo'd and Rapped!!

I agree!! i find the tescos stuff make the car run alot better... and its only 99.9p where I am... thats a bargain!!!

I think gsn1978 was actually saying that Shell V-Power was better....  :undecided:

Hmmmm..... tihnk you might be right there!! But i think mine prefers the Tesco stuff... tried the v-power and it wasnt that much diff from the 97ron sainsburys stuff i used to use. However im still only on like 3k so maybe its just the loosening up thats makin it feel defferent. Havent used the sain's or v-power for a while now.

Not a happy man... I've just come back from my determined quest to find a Shell garage in Ipswich that has this offer - because I'm a tight b88t8rd - and after visiting 5 out of 6 stations none of them have cheaper V-Power (I ran out of time for the 6th and knowing my luck and Sod's Law, it was probably participating in this offer).  Anyway, I started off the journey with 50 miles left in the tank and came back with 20 miles left     Would have been pointless finding a participating garage at that rate as I would have only broken even

One thing I did notice was that when I accelerated quite hard in both S and D Modes, the turbo sounded quite wheezy and I haven't noticed that before.  I'll keep an eye on it for a few weeks and if it gets any worse then I may go to the dealer.

Your turbo sounding wheezy. Sounds like intercooler pipe comming off. My mates seat has had this put back on twice now.
Diesel power all the way

Still got the urge but unfortunately not the cash and that's why I stay out of here !  I do pop in and have a read every now and again. Makes me laugh this section though, as there's users in here with 100s of posts that I've never seen before !

By the way Hurdy, your Edition is looking quality in the recent pics I've seen, loving the sig by the way.

you have expensive fuel over there!  1.04 is 2.49 CHF.
I buy V-power at 1.885 CHF now, and it is expensive!
