mk3 16v 5dr Gti,mintex extreme pads,drilled/grooved discs,lowered,cat back powerflow system,omp panel filter with modified airbox,debadged grill, started prep for spraying, lots to come :D

Just get some plakky bags and use 2-3 inside each other for proper coverage. Then some laccy bands will hold them on well enough.  :cool:

Just the usual electrics, i.e. on mk1-3 the dizzys, ignitions coils, etc. Mk4's well they are mostly plastic covered now, but if you want to be really anal about it, then the spark plugs, as i think the leads to them have coil packs on the leads themselves. The backs of the lights are always good ones to cover too.

have a look on ed38 its recommended by a professional detailer and it even says it in the AutoGlym guide to engine cleaning...

dont take my word for it.. have a read...

i think the electrics would be turned off  :laugh:

maybe should DC the neg of the abttery to.. otherwise it could short on a constant live  :undecided:
