Problem starting GTI Monday morning after problem free Sunday.
Called AA & guy finds out it's a weak spark. Replaced dizzy cap, rotor arm, leads & cleaned out K&N week before!?
Pop round to GSF for new ignition module & seems to do the trick.
AA man sends me on the way to work & after 100 yds almost put GTI into someones living room!
Where the hell have my brakes gone? A couple of dabs gives slight improvement.
Car warms up & decide to apply a little more right foot. What has happened to my power at approx 3-4000 rpm?(guessed from engine note as MFA & rev counter not working since buying GTI 6 years previous!!!!!!!!!) It seems funny man has decided to put Kangaroo juice in my tank.
Upgraded to Brembo Max front disks & Pagid fast road pads but still braking not the same as before.
A friend has said that lift pump my be defunct.
Has anyone any ideas, please?
