Only had mine four days but already the wait I had has been long forgotten - it really is a superb car and well worth all the waiting

Hope you get a quick shipment and then you can go and have some fun  :smug:

Been a while for me too , but got the call car is built(15th Oct) and on its way to me
Actual pickup should be before end of month , as dealer seems keen to get it in Octobers books.

whooooooosh.......

the wait 'almost' seems worth it!

Just had my call from the dealer. My car is at stage 5 of 8 and is well on its way to being built. Hard to get excited about it now however, as father father passed away at the weekend

Sorry to hear of your misfortune - but pleased to see that ED30 community keeps growing; you won't regret it guys.

Just a thought on this - anyone know how many ED30's are still available for UK.  It was supposed to be a limited edition run with a max. of 1500 for UK market, surely there cannot be many more to come - or is VAG stitching us up and turning it into an 'unlimited' edition.

Not knocking anybody but it would be good if we could get hold of numbers involved.

It wouldn't surprise me if they made it into an "unlimited" edition as they haven't, unlike the MK4 Anni, put a "xxx of 1500" plate on them.

Sorry to hear about your Father. My dad passed away from cancer at the end of August, so I do know how you must be feeling
