I've just put a deposit on a very nice GTI 2.0T FSI at Motorworld in Kidlington which is a little bit special. It has had 2 previous owners - both living in the Oxford area - who only kept the car for around 12 months each.
The first owner (Peter something I think) spent bucket loads on the car from new with a Milltek quad exhaust and 19" Rials as well as Eibach Pro springs. What I'm interested to find out is if the ECU has been "chipped" 'coz I'd be surprised if it hadn't given the other mods that have been done. Even if he knew, it's unlikely the last owner would have told the dealership when he traded it in (for a new G32) and there is no way that I can find out that I know of. The dealership have a load of receipts for the mechanical stuff (they didn't even know what Eibach Pro was!!!) but no mention of any ECU mapping.
The car is Blue Graphite in colour with leather interior, xenons etc. etc. as well as all the bits described above. The reg is OY55 LAA. If anyone knows this car or anything about it's history I'd appreciate an e-mail to davew@computamedic.co.uk.
