1) I like the heated seats at 6.15am in the morning

2) I also like the whistling sound the turbo makes  when it is warmed up (I close the windows, turn off the radio, and listen to the turbo   whistle, which starts from about 1800 rpm to 2300 rpm in 3rd and 4th gear. It is also discernible in 6th gear up to 3000 rpm. I think I will buy the new intake even if it gives 0hp on a WHITE GTI , as long as the whistle is made louder!)

It sounds like the speckled band from "The Adventure of the Speckled Band" bu A.C. Doyle

3) I also like the "silver band" on the rims  Always look at the car in the shop windows driving by  :embarassed:

P.S. When I say GTI for some reason I think of the word jedi

Ahhhh,

Whilst I was looking for the output for the Carbonio, one site had a sound clip. Go on the link and the sound clip is just before the application list.

I think I mix up things. The whistle is made by turbo spooling up, not by intake.  :embarassed:

mine is the burp you get from the exhaust when you fool the DSG into change up/down, blipping the accelerator hard then total lift off the peddle.
secondly would be the sound of the turbo on accelation

I like the turbo sound..... And that no matter how fast you go through a corner the tyres refuse to squeel....  (Stupid things)

Completely forget that I have heated seats until I read your post yesterday  :embarassed:
Needed them this morning - what a strange sensation though!

I turn off the climate and radio and put the windows down. Then i knock the car into 2nd gear and put my foot down as i go under a tunnel or an interchange. The echo is just

You're probably right  First time I've had heated seats, so I probably need some time to get used to that warm, tingling feeling. At least, I hope it's the seat that's causing that...
