Noob from Edinburgh
« on: 16 October 2007, 21:27 »
About to sell my Impreza and get a MKII GTI, the Impreza's fast and very predictable but, to be honest it's a bit too predictable and a bit boring to drive (even at speed)  :undecided:

So apart from rust, what else should I be looking out for when viewing MKII's ? I've searched but couldn't find a buyers guide on here ??? I know mechanical stuff and can also weld too, need to as I've got a '64 Bug

Hello there, I also have a MK2 Golf ( a 92 GTi 16v) and I have also had Imprezas before, and I live in Scotland :D:D

I had the original STi RA and then a Sti III, also had an Evo 6 running 360bhp :D

I found that they were way to fast for my driving ability and although handled fantastically, when they lost it, they lost it big.
I know this as the STi III was the only one that I managed to sell! The other didn't make it :embarassed:.

Anyhoo enjoy the Mk2, I found it slow, but much more fun :D:D

I've not managed to loose the Impreza propperly yet, although have had a few past sideways moments but, managed (luckily) to get it back. I'll sell it before it catches me out !!

Haven't we got the best roads up here in Scotland
