Dizzy Conundrum

My 16V dizzy has had its day and I've been offered a replacement.
The serial number on the old one is:
Z415 0 237 521 010
The seriel number on the new one is:
Z415 0 237 521 046

Question.....
Is the newer one compatible?
The bodies, d/cap, leccy connections are all identicle but the hall senders are different, the older one having a round plate thats screwed X4 to the dizzy floor and the newer one has just two screws and a small base.

If it were just a matter of swapping senders then I wouldn't be here asking, but the new body has two tapped holes missing so is unable to accomodate the old Hall sender.
 ???
