MKIV W8 LED Interior Light mod in MKIII?

I have asked this question before on another forum and the answer was, its a different size and if you have a sunroof then you would need to relocate the sunroof switch.  A lot of hard work for a little difference

I know how you feel, but its depending on what you want it for, if its for the dim lighting, there is probably a retro way of doing it, im just trying to figure out what and how

think it would be possible to replace the passenger map reading light with an LED and then link that to the headlight switch and control it with the dash light dimmer?

I was thinking of more drilling two holes and putting LED's in there and wiring them to the sunroof switch so they only go on when you put the lights on also you can dim it

to the sunroof switch? surely that would only come on when you opened the sunroof?

seems like a waste of time and also a tad chavvy if u ask me??

create a subtle colour wash at night.... mk4 boys seem to like it and is on audi w8... chavness factor is debateable granted but I think done properly this could be avoided
