What is this connector for?
« on: 07 March 2004, 00:16 »
I recently acquired a Mk2 1.6 CL. It initially had a problem with the automatic choke but today i noticed a connector hanging loose, I plugged it back up and the car runs great now. I'm just wondering what i've plugged back in.

It's the small 2 pin connector that plugs in just behind the automatic choke plunger thing on the driver side of the carb (to use my non-nissan technical speak). Whatever it does, i can now hear the idle speed being controlled rather than just revving it's nuts off.

cheers,
