Wen any of us service ur cars,like the fuel/oil/air filter etc,where do u buy ur parts from? Like wud it b halfords own or say a champion fuel filter or what?Which is best? $:-\$

VAG do cheap filters etc

I did go to halfords but found out i was geting ripped off $:-\$

I use VAG or Stuart at Leeds Eurocarparts.

i`d use stu at euro car parts, you`ll get a bit of discount

VW were cheaper for flexi brake hoses than my local trade part supplier

, go and get the service parts from VW or Eurocarparts and you will deff get the correct parts. If they are dearer it will only be a few quid.

local parts in town unless I have to buy genuine. filters are cheap anyway so may aswell get genuine.

I just did a service on my mk2 Golf, I bought oil, oil filter and spark plugs from VW for ?37.
It probably would have been cheaper to buy them from my local car parts but in the long run I don't think you really save that much and you?re also running the risk of pars failing
