Tesco purposely de-stocked 99 fuel because of the huge demand for standard unleaded caused by their "5p off a litre when you spend £50 in store" offer.

Seems to be back now though.

a quick one here guys, but a lot of you seem to be using tesco for fuel,i used to aswell until i started using the trip counter at every fill up and found that i was constantly getting 60 miles more out of a tank full of v power.

£1.04 for VPower !!! You need to stop getting it delivered to your door. It's only 99p up here in Glasgow. Our Tesco has plenty of 99 as well even during the 5p off thing. I only know because I filled up our other car (Lexus RX300) with 99 to see if it made any difference. Unfortunately it still does 23mpg but it was soo much cheaper than the hybrid version so i don't care.

£1.04  thats the joy of living in the sunny south, you boys up north dont pay half as much as we have to down here!!, cost of living is alot more down here,  and you have better roads to blast around on. thats just no fair!!
