Looks good....but £3.5K

I'd check the rear drivers side arch for damage as well, looking at the pic. It gets parked awfully close to that pillar!!

I'm only window shopping Hurdy, but I miss the way a MKII feels.
Still its in good nick at that price he doesn't want to sell her really and I can't blame him either.
Those documents were layed out too neatly and perfect

Looking at your car at the Springfest, I wouldn't sell

Rather look into the further mods you had planned. Had any mods since Springfest?

Well after members willing to sell body parts to pay for the Rallye I have decided to sort the mapp out on the car thinking in the region of 230BHP so far, but last time it dynd it was about 170BHP with the stock charger. So now with the cooling and RS2 charger giving usable proberly 1bar. The current mapp is running abit lean so FRP and injectors plus a live mapp should see me through pass the 200BHP, but the decat, back box and manifold cost about £800 to be custom made   Plus I'm taking the gear box out for a VR and Tdi cog conversion. I'm expecting to get to 0-60 by second gear instead of 3rd I hope!

Does this mean you fancy your chances against Gibby now on the 1/4 mile?

Assuming he's found out how to get into the drivers side

Sorry couldn't resist

LOL Hurdy Yeah the last time I did qtr mile with Gibs he couldn't get it in gear and still beat me by a few seconds. Saying that I'm not making an excuse..... for my loss......, my charger was producing 0 boost after the rebuild I saw why, down to the last mill on the apex strips. Also Mr Gibs was running a ported head and uprated chip!
But after reading Jv's performance in his, I think 14.7-9ish I think he is the one to get on the QTR mile

From what I remember yours came up top dog in the QTR I was genuinely shocked at the stock power!

I say next spring fest we all do it again it was a cracking day out!

Sounds good to me

Hopefully will have some mods on myself by then

Like you, I want to get some of the more subtle mods done first and then go for some extra power

Me against jv at the moment looks like a good match. I've also found out at Inters how to get launch control right

Ok, when the old bastar* car is fixed.

Launch control on a Rallye..... what's that, getting in the right door?

Hurdy do you have DSG becuase when you re mapp the ECU the trip ECU is a bugger to get a remapp to match the changes I had this problem with my trip V6 2.7.
