what id like to know Peskarik is i know you live in switzerland and your not allowed to wash your car by law, so how on earth do you keep your white car clean!??  :undecided:

you are right, it is not allowed to go out with a bucket and a cloth on the street and do some Sunday cleaning.
I go to Best Carwash in Zurich. Nice place.

I had to wash it on Saturday because the back was getting really sh!tty, the sides were fine though.

....That's terrible!! Does that mean you can't handwash your car!?   Drive-through carwashes are very bad for modern car paintwork   .

The backs of our Golf hatchbacks always get dirty first.

as far as I know there are no places where you can go and personally hand wash your car. In Sweden, where I was raised, there are places like that. This Best Carwash is a drive thru, but they have people who spray the car with some stuff before it goes in, and then they final-dry it by hand (that is, after the blower). They put some kind of polymer lacquer protection on the car and then some kind of UV resistant, water repellent polish based on nanotechnology..  but it seems to be ok that polish, I must say
Anyway, for me that is the only option to have my car cleaner, and, also, the only place I'd go to.

If you want to have your car handwashed and polished they provide that service, too. About 450 CHF. Teflon polish - 800CHF (they also give you a certificate that protection lasts 3 years )
I will get my car handpolished next year.   :lipsrsealed:

now my baby shines like the sun
when it gets dirty I'll take some pictures and post in this forum.
I've driven my car for a month without cleaning, went to France twice, thru rains etc, but it stays quite clean (obviously the dirt is there, but not THAT noticable). Maybe the roads are cleaner here, I don't know...

Because they are a country of car haters. If I lived close to the border I'd have to cross it every sunday with a bucket and cleaning products!

This lowered candy white GTI in the pictures I just don't like. The rims are awful!    Arabs and rappers like this type of rims... total bling  no finesse whatsoever. Even stock Peskaras look 10 times more sophisticated

You have to be joking?! BBS LM's? The finest VW wheel in the world ever. God has a set.

there are way too many spokes, they dazzle my eyes
but I like the deep lip
and I like the dice dustcaps (I have metallic dustcaps with GTI logo on mine)

overall, these BBS rims are not to my liking, Detroits are simpler, easier on the eyes, and therefore more attractive
