need to remove the engine and replace with a 1.8T!!! or at least thats what ill tell the other half whern mine goes!!!!!
Should just be a simple clutch change!!

If you can get this done for £100-150 that is cheap.... A good quality clutch is around £80-100.. I would say more like £200-250 (thats what i paid a couple of years ago on my old gti). and it can be wise to replace the cable as the self adjusters are useless after a few years

Im gettin my gear box reconditioned and a new clutch fitted and its gona cost 350quid, as the guy i use is a family friend!

ok thanks, i might have 2 park her up for a week or two. untill i get payed. have to highjack the missis car. how long will take, about 2hrs.
