jacking it up???

right i need to jack my mk2 up to replace the rear suspension and rear subframe pivoting rubber bush things, and i was wanting to know where i can put my axle stands in such a place that i can remove the rear subframe,is the bit on the right of this pic the only place??? the thing on the left is the exhaust any help would be great

Are you a deep sea diver or someting, you jacking it up from the Atlantic ocean?  :lipsrsealed:

Get some axle stands/breez blocks under that point on both sides, it'll be fine.  If thats the place that I think it looks like. LOL.

no dont do it at back do it on chassis just in front of mounting point of axle :cool:

so is it ok to leave it on blocks like that at the back??? looks pretty solid, its just i dont want it to twist on me or anything like that  :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Should be ok, I can see that you got the blocks just under the box section iron where the rear bumber arms slide through and bolt up. I use the bit just under the rear door, just before where the arch begins, or as golf8v says, just before the rear axle mount plate.
