not sure about MK5 but i've got Mintex on my MKIV and they seem more than capable of the job :afro:

go for performance pads as they will be better than the standard ones

nah just got the standard mintex; don't really push my car enough to warrant the higher performance ones

I would go for Axxis Ultimate pads, absoloutely amazing

much better than OEM brakes IMO, and quite cheap aswel, about £40 + shipping from CA Automotive :)

Do you use Roy / CA automotive much?? Sextons Reading are an authorised distributor for CA automotive. The Axxis are good brakes
To much going on to list all the work

Yeah I have ordered from CA Automotive before, find them an excellent company...

As for the Axxis Ultimate brake pads, i'm just waiting to wear mine down before ordering some

A friend who has an M3 has fitted them and says they are better in every aspect compared to his OEM pads!

And for £40 incredible value IMO

I would go Pagid if you can get them for the Mk V, not sure.  Braided hoses and some Castrol SRF. Sorted.
