Just call me king budget! :wink: my parents used to force me to wear a set of dunlops when i was at school, so i guess its gone full circle!!

Continental Contisport any day for me, had eagle f1's good but i think that the Contisport stick alot better in the wet  :wink:

Am currently on Eagle F1's after Contis and then Bridgestones and the F1's are far better in both wet and dry imo. So I'll be considering the new F1 Assymetrics next but also the Vredesteins. EVO mag did a tyre test in current issue - All on a Mk5 GTI.

Lucky old me !!!! My Ed 30 came with Dunlops...... Funny the traction control light has an intermittent fault - its always on in when it rains ?

Seriously I have nothing else to compare them to on this car - so blissfully ignorant for the next 10K

Will prob stick with the Contis tbh, no probs so far and going around Combe they stuck like **** to a shovel. :evil:

Only reason I would swap would be if there was an offer on somewhere, maybe we should post links to cheap tyres?? :undecided:

how do you find your contis are wearing paulm007? Taking into consideration your track day of course.. only my fronts will need to be changed at around 9k judging by how much they have worn already, I wouldn't consider myself to be to hard on them!
Want to go for the Mich PS2 next - they were fantastic on my old R!!

Well they can't have forced you to wear a pair of Michelins, Contis or Pirellis to school - or could they  :shocked:
