Anyone local to me have a coilover adjusting tool that is`nt a hammer?

didn't you get the tool(s) with the coilovers?  I got a couple of C-Spanners with mine, I just keep them in the small toolkit in the boot.

Maybe you can use a centre-punch type thing and a hammer?  Not exactly the scientific approach, but I used to use that on bikes (bicycles) all the time when I didn't have the right tool :grin:

they were already fitted when i got the motor and i have had a gentle tap or two!

My FK highsports have different C-Spanners to my Mate's ones.. and he only bought his a year or so before me.  so hard to guarantee any tool would fit....  :undecided:

I would lend a hand but I'm miles away, in Bath. :smiley:

I noticed some nice scratches on the bottom of mine last time I did an oil change :shocked:

Don't scrape though generally, so not sure what caused that... I think it may have been one particular speed hump at a drive-thru a while ago. :undecided:

Use a ribbon oil filter tool to adjust the cogs. Its quicker and doesnt damage the coilies
Use plenty of wd40 and a wirebrush to clean the threads out. Makes life easier

once you have adjusted to the correct height. Put some copper grease on the thread
