glossary
« on: 16 September 2007, 17:32 »
I was thinking of like a glossery that people can add to. Keep it clean of course, include things like car parts, different models and bits like OEM for us peeps who aren't quite sure what they mean  :embarassed:
To be fair it would probably be more like a vw encyclopedia!

i think it could be usefull, but you just know it'd end up a mess!

ie someone would need to know what to post for starters, if people asked a question then got the answer it'd need organising somehow. good idea but i'm not looking after it!
team grumpy....... its a way of life, not a forum post

it would take a massive effort to keep it up to date i think

another way around it but involving just as much effort would be one person to trawl the forum and add to the glossary regularly used terms

and no i'm not volunteering!!!

I thought it would be pretty tricky but it was only an initial idea and I thought some IT wiz could figure it out

someone could start a thread and then people could just edit the post and add to it

was thinking that, or have a main first topic, then people reply and add to the list, and someone just copies them into the main first section?
