A snippet of Sunday morning...
« on: 09 September 2007, 08:16 »
Went up at 8 and took the Ed30 on a slow drive through silent and empty streets of Zurich, to office to have a coffee. The red lights were not working so nothing impeded the below 30mph drive. There were few cars on the streets. I was looking at my car in the shops' windows (love doing that  :embarassed: )...

Suddenly there it was - the gray Ed30 with black wheels.  It felt great to see another member of the small clan of Ed30s.  Going back I came face to face with a white Ed30 just like mine.  Could not help but to salute the driver with a blink of headlights, got a salute back. That warmed my heart.

Stopped to get some croissants for my sweety GF sleeping at home, and saw a black styled GTI with black Eta-Beta wheels.  Looked supreme!

GTIs on the prowl in Zurich this morning.

but the GTi would have been a Better car rather then the not so good GT in that advert, they should do another advert to promote the GTi/ ed30

no, please, no Ed30 promotions. It feels great not seeing so many of them on the roads.

Ed 30's are common everywhere

oooohhhh.........depends where you live. I saw one this week. The last one I saw was a couple of months ago and that was Mrs BMX.
I have seen (on the road) 4 in total since Feb. I've seen more Audi RS4s than that.

They can't be that common. According to the ED30 register on UKMKIV's there are only 51

Oh BTW if anyone has an ED30 and hasn't registered. Click on the link

Ed30s are not really common here compared to other cars, but one can assume they will get more and more common. GTIs are not so common either, but, as well, there are more of them now than 3 months ago, going by the number of noticed cars.

It is imperative to separate oneself from standard Ed30 crowd now. Ottinger/Milltek/Eibach - here we come!  :nerd:
