Water pump - apparently the GSF one is quite good, but I haven't had first hand experience

My GSF water pump only lasted a few thousand miles before the bearings gave out. OEM all the way.
 :smiley:

... it's turned into a fashion show for poofters.

I agree some gsf parts can be crap.... I don't buy original stuff and buy from branded names like quinton hazell, febi bilstein, delphi most of these are o.e suppliers.... don't buy unbranded parts as the quality can be poor!!

Thats cool, sounds like gsf and the like are out then.

I'll pop down and see the local dealer and see what sort of money we are talking then for the bits i need.  Its only really the service style parts as the car has been off the road for so long, and not been run for that long either.

And thanks for the correction on title.....lmao.....
