8V mkii manifold and exaust

Any advice on new exaust - Either going to keep it standard or if it is worth it get a stainless system and tsw manifold. Has anybody done this and noticed a difference in performance or does it just make car sound nice. To put full stainless system with manifold will cost me more than the car is probably worth.

the manifolds are ment to help with aceleration......
it will give some power as the factory ones are restrictive.......
