New Candy White GTI 30 Owner Soon
« on: 06 September 2007, 13:09 »
Hi all,

Just thought I would drop a note to say hi to everyone. I will be the owner of a Candy white GTI 30 sometime in October I hope. I ordered the car at the end of July and was told 12 weeks so fingers crossed. I recently sold my beloved Lotus Elise S2 Type 72 JPS and am currently driving round in an old Rover 416 I picked up off ebay for £280. To say I am counting the weeks is an understatement.

I ordered my Ed 30 in the end of July and have been told the middle of Oct as well - am trying to not get excited but now it is Sept I am getting that way!!!

I also saw a white Ed 30 driving into Edinburgh today coming from the Forth Road bridge and it looked really good.  I went for black personally but each to their own

I am just about to sell my Audi S3 to fund the Ed 30 so do you suggest I buy a Rover to tide me over

Hopefully will find a buyer wanting to do a deal on the day I get my Ed 30 - fingers well and truely crossed!

I simply went with my gut reaction on the colour of the car. My Lotus was black so knew i wanted a change of colour then I saw a picture of a white one and loved the look of it as soon as I saw it.

I have never owned a golf GTI before and actually have not driven a edition 30 yet, they only had standard GTI's to test drive so I hope I wont be dissapointed
