Help moding candy white
« on: 05 September 2007, 17:08 »
:undecided: Here's one for you, I want my bumpers and side skirts colour coded but you may have read from my other posts that i'm finding it hard to get anyone to do it in my area. With that in mind i have now ordered a vortex front lip spoiler, R32 side skirts all primed and i wanted a GTI 30 ed rear bumper but its £450 which i think is a bit of a rip off. So what i'm looking for is ideas on which rear bumper to get, would get the R32 rear but don't want to change the pipes at the moment which my dealer tells me i would have to do? Any ideas, links or pics would be greatly received  :undecided:

That one is hideous!   ETTO, though!

Anyway, the first lot is a body kit for the standard Golfs, and not the GTI

Oh, 'suppose I'd better answer the OP.

The standard GTI front and rear bumpers and skirts WILL paint, but you must ensure proper preparation, and demand the bodyshop uses the correct flexible primer.

Oettinger rear skirt looks great. For the front skirt I'd choose ABT, they have a nice (but really expensive) carbon lip. Anyway, what is best with Oettinger is their switchable remap.
