why is it know the steering wheel airbag is Black  :angry:  mines grey along with the rest of the steering wheel?, why have they changed it, was it a model year change or a replacement airbag if the origonals been deployed???

could it be because its a 2008? I will take some better photos today in the sunlight.

Nice choice of colour! Would love to have the highline too!

God damn how many more diagrams can they fit onto those wiper stalks?!?!?!?

An yeah the black centre on the wheel looks a little strange  :undecided:

it looks grey inside the car, I think its just the light or the flash.

As for the "highline"?? I think this is where the Aussie ones are different. All GTi's come standard like this in Aus (apart from the sunroof, DSG, bi zenons, leather and iPod adapter I had added)

I'm going to give it a god wash this weekend and take some really good photos so you guys can see what differences there are if any.

I thought they were for the US market - the yanks even need instructions printing on every single sheet of this:

Highline MDF only has been added to aussie spec cars for the 08 model. Before that you had to get satnav to get the biggger MDF  :wink:

Pretty sure I have the standard options as you too, closer Oz than you think   :drool:
