DSG Flappy Paddles.....

Just out of curiousity cause i have never seen them before....can some one post pics of them  :smiley:

Yeah, I was surprised how small they were. Perfectly formed, but not big enough to be called 'flappy'!

Having said that, clicky paddles sounds like some sort of medical condition......
Diamond Black Golf GTI, DSG, Monza IIs, Cruise, MFSW, Rear Tints and Ipod. VRmmmmmmmm!

Here's a sharper pic. Although the paddles are quite small, if you are driving at 'quarter-to-three' position, which is best and which the GTI's wheel encourages by design, the paddles are very tactile and grippy. Someone is working on a paddle extension in ali which extends both above and below but it's not available yet - Should solve that 'hard lock & shift from 1st' awkwardness, although floor stick is an alternative in that situation.

I wasn't too sure I liked the paddles at first but now I only use them and can't remember the last time I used S-mode.

....Yep. Gives a light click sound. All great fun and feels very instant and direct once you've got over your initial concerns. It's now so habitual that sometimes when I'm in a town and in D, I forget and use a paddle instead of letting the DSG do it automatically.

I have flashed my headlights instead of shifting gear on a couple of occasions!

Lol...oncomers may have been abit confused then lol....thing at times i see a DSG Golf or something and i try looking for the flappy paddels or even clicky paddles but i cant seem to find them...just had to see a pic to see how they were lol
