« on: 03 September 2007, 18:19 »
Just drove home from work, pulled up outside post office, came back to car and nothing happend when I turned the key!
Bumped it and started straight away, tried jumping the started and again nowt!

Its just stuck! and Smells of melted electrics!

Just ordered a new one from local Factors as need the car as my daily £75 plus VAT.

Will wack it on tomorrow night in mates garage.

Always something - just as my pot was building nicely for the rest of my crystals!

Correct me if im wrong but arent those starter motors attached through the front engine mount? remember to support the engine!

I don't think a semi will give the same results

correct - they are indeed!

Once engine is supported, I think there are only 2 bolts holding it on!?

Thanks guys, but I'm after a brand new OEM one. Had second hand parts go on me the week I installed them.....no offence.
