Picked up my brand new car today.......one word wow!!........no double wow!!

Good to hear it, Pat :smiley:

The Mk5 GTI is one of rare cars the manufacturer got more or less right. A great allrounder, good chassis and exciting performance, very comfortable.

get some pics after a good clean, yeah from robinson's, it's a red 3 door with 18" monza's.

You had much to do with robinson's, it's my first car from there, got the wife's polo last year from cookes in fakenham.

Yeah, too bloddy much, though they are a gazillion times better than the "stealer" in west Norfolk, near the wash!

Oh, is Tom Sofrin still there?  And has he replaced his batteries in his hearing aid!  :sad:

Cookes Fakenham (mile from my office) is now owned by the same group that operate the 'West Norfolk stealer' (Kings Lynn VW) - was your experience with them, or the previous franchise Brundle VW. operated by (Martin's brother) Robin?

Personally was looked after well by KL VW.

Tom is still there, he dealt wife my wifes polo last year, seems nice enough chap, would have bought my car from him, but robinsons had a car come in and being able to beat the 3 month wait was too great a temption for me!
