Which suspension kit?
« on: 01 September 2007, 08:32 »
Alright People

I want to put some 18 inch alloys on my 150bhp TDI, but I understand that I will have to put a suspension kit on first and drop it 30mm.

What I want is cheap and to keep the ride quality similar as possible (not to firm).  Can anyone recommend a set and maybe the best place to buy it?

Thanks People

you can get away with 18"'s and no drop on the 150 as its got the same suspension as the 1.8T

all depends how low you want it, most people go for eibach's

putting 18"s on and lowering it will not allow you to keep the same ride quality. the stiffer springs/shocks and lower tyre profile will make damn sure of that lol. i'm not trying to put you off but be prepared for a harsher ride than your used to at the minute. cornering without feeling like your going to barrel -roll of the road is consolation though
