T'is an awesome car and not a thing I would change about it. Sadly out of my range at the moment, but in a few years time it will be an option.

PMSL - I actually kept the "sport" button pressed all the while, and the racket it makes on full bore, especially through all the tunnels!  I just had to keep winding the windows (double glazed on the sides!) down, slow down, and then floor it . . . .

I love the RS4 - but the price of the composite disks is  amazing And the sound that the engine makes........mmmmmm

Talking of road trips in a S4 -the photos in the link are quite funny - if you like Nagaro blue (appologies to folks how saw it the last time I posted the link)

Yebut, they last 5 times as long as conventional discs.  And standard discs and pads on an RS4 will be around £1000 for the parts, and some people have reported wearing them out after 4½-5k miles!  So it is 6 of one, or half a dozen of the other, in terms of price - but that excludes the drool factor of the ceramics, and also the mind-blowing performance advantage too! 

And the sound that the engine makes........mmmmmm

Yup, it even scares Germans!

Vortex is down at the mo, but if that was where two kids taped up a black B5 S4 and drove from one side of the US to the other, yes, very funnuy and interesting.

Apparently, it is quite common for them to tape the front ends of their motors, probably a cheaper version of the "car bra" principle.
