My step father's 1986 golf 1.8 auto just had it's engine pretty much refurbed by me. Thing is, i can't for the life of see how all the thin vacuum pipes around the carb go together correctly. The label under the bonnet is gone and there's nothing on google images and the Haynes manual is as much help as my local evening spread!! If anyone out there still runs the old Pierburg carb, could you help me with a pic or diagram? Or if anybody knows of a site, that would be just as good! Any help appreciated.
