^ I was going to ask are there any problems associated with cars being underused like this, guess that's one example!

Still, a through service to make sure everything is as it's should be and you'd have one of the finest examples going for sure. - Why do people buy these cars and not use them?! more money than sense!! ha ha

Change the tyres, give it a service and jobs a good one. If that mileage is correct and the bodywork is mint then 5k is actually a bargain. I also do not understand why some cars have such low mileage, what's the point in having a car that you don't drive, madness really.

^oh i dunno...weather? how much it costs in petrol for two cars? where could you park it if it was a daily drive? If things keep going wrong with it? etc etc..
but i do agree..i wud drive the cab all the time if it was practical..

Just a note about the tyres; I just fit a set of old tyres to my mk2 - they're good tyres with loads of tread, but they're as old as the car itself - the things are pretty much lethal, they're worse than a bald set of new tyres IMO.
