0-60 times??
« on: 25 February 2004, 13:03 »
Out of interest i tried some 0-60 times in my mark1 16v.
its seems to average out about 7.5 secs. Usually more like 7 if i make it in 2nd.

Does this seem accurate. I've timed it my self and got someone else aswell...

All depends on your specific set up. I have heard of mk1 16V's doing 0-60 in the 5 second bracket but who knows what exactly they had done to it.

The problem is keeping the power on the road... The first few yards are citical as i can just wheelspin!!

I can burn off a VR6 easily so that makes me happy.

Don't know who you mean?  ;)

I think we all know that the VR6 is a soft family car anyway.
