Hoping to be a Golf owner again, new to site

Hello everyone, nice looking site, loads of inspiration for my new car.
I am currently looking to get a P reg 16v GTI in Dragon Green, with a/c, electric roof etc etc. Its a bit different from my last 16v GTI, an 89 model back when it was only three years old.(oh happy days!)
I could feel the family similarity when i took the new one over 4k on the test drive yesterday
Its not mint, but respectable for the age. The biggest problem, is the seller needs the car for another 4 weeks, but it'll give me chance to get myself sorted out. Fingers crossed I'll get it without any hitches, and I'll put some pics up.

Bizarrely, I am now looking at getting the exact same car two years on.
I could nt get it last time, and then got a 525 manual, then an Impreza, then a Primera GT, then a 850 T5, and now full flipping circel back at the Dragon green 5 door
Should ve bought it last time and saved myself a fortune.
Anyway, subject to it being big enough for two little ones, I'll be swapping the T5 for it, so fingers crossed, 2nd time lucky!
Anyone on here have experience of kids and these cars?
