My mate was hit by an uninsured driver - an out of work social misfit chav of a bloke driving an R reg Mondeo. My mates sparkly new X-Type 3.0 Jag was shunted from the rear and subsequently pushed onto a roundabout where he was hit on the front end by a Toyota Corolla. Chav was stopped from running off by the bloke behind him otherwise he would have probably said it wasn't him driving the car and "somebody must have nicked it officer"
Chav ended up with a £50 fine, £2,500 costs and 120 hrs community service. So far, 10 months later my mate has only seen £210 from the chav and hasn't received anything else (injury claim etc) as the chav can only afford to pay £5 a week.
Oh and BTW the Toyota Corrola man was advised to claim off my mate as he had insurance and as my mate hasn't got no claims protection he now has to fork out another £250 a year for insurance
