I haven't got the chrome strip but the scrappy should still have it. I can give you the details if you want, phone 'em up and see how much they want and I'll go get it for you.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner..........haven't been back on here since that last post.

The car was on a Y plate, green mk1, in the top corner. Just ask him if its still there and whether it still has the chrome side trims on it. He'll know whether its still there or not as all the cars are on a computer database, but he'll probably tell you to come and have a look for yourself about the side trims.........which will be my cue.
Don't forget to ask him for a price.

I'm off tomorrow and Friday but will be busy refitting a gearbox to my father in laws mk2 GTI. When I feel like a break I can nip over.
