Anniversary golfball gear knob

 Evening all. Just got a 97 GTI and l really want a half leather half ali golfball gear knob that the mk3 anniversary models had. l've looked on ebay and googled but not come up with anything. Can anyone help? Cheers

Good luck theyre extremely rare ive seen 2 on Ebay in the last few months and always reach £40+ in used condition....

I got one brand new in the for sale section of the forum, £40 delivered.

Now got it in my mk2, lovely gear knob just hard to find.

Keep an eye out on the forums and on ebay and one will turn up.....

their is some miles better g/knobs on the market (my opinion) from the likes of momo etc...have u not checked these out?
deffo worth a look, be better quality too....

Depends what you're after though.

The mk3 anni gearknob is a very cool OE gear knob.

Quaity is damn good aswell. Can't see pics of what you were suggesting as there was no link.

 Yeah, personnally l'm all about originality with my cars, using parts from other models or period items to give a original look with a bit of a twist and l love the fact that the anniversaty gear knob harks back to mk1 but is ahlf leather,/half ali to give a more up to date feel. Subtle.

gave up looking for a Anni one for my Mk3 so i got a chrome golf ball style VW Motorsport one!!!  Think Venom do them for £45!!!!  I paid £11 delivered on Ebay

gpc do them although I doubt it will be much cheaper than your local vag dealer.
