New tyres
« on: 15 August 2007, 11:50 »
Hi,

Its time for some new boots. (Im down to 3mm, but with the summer monsoons we have been having im changing them a little early)

I have been happy with the Bridgestone RE050a nad they are only £107 from mytryres and my local dude will match that.

The michelin Pilot sports are £135, and I have eard good things about them...but are they worth the extra?

Pablo.

Winter performance is not an issue, as I have cheapo alloys with Vredstien Wintracs for the proper winter.

Goodyear F1's ?
Mk 5 GTi, Tornado Red, Leather, Xenons, 18" Monza II's, Sunroof, 6CD in Armrest, Winter pack & Tinted Windows... soon to be adding ED30 front spoiler, plus R32 sideskirts... then getting fully colour coded!
New engine fitted when car was at 27k... last one went "noisey".

I have had both the Goodyear Eagle F1's and Michelin Pilot sports, think the Goodyear Eagle F1's are great tyres but the Pilots had the edge with more feed back to the driver.
