Mk2 1.6 engine problems plz any help

I have a J reg 1.6, about a week ago whilst driving home the car randomly cut out, left in gear the car started up again about 5 seconds later, about 20 mins later whilst joining the m25 it cut out again, all electrics still runing just engine had cut out, i pulled over, left it idleing fine for 5 mins then drove it home no probs. However the problem has worsened it is now only driveable for few hundred metres before cutting out. Still idles fine and revs fine, simply cuts out at any revs whilst moving??? only thing ive noticed on dash is very low temp, below a quarter, which it has been like since i bought it.

Ive looked all over this forum as ive found out all other faults ive ever had on here but cant find anything resembling this problem, all problems i see are on idleing etc

Ive had a quick look at electric connections and cannot see any loose wires or corroded ends? any help plz guys

isnt this a common fault with mk3's? may be wrong but i think there is a thread in the mk3 section ... try looking through there

sounds fueling related, id guess at a fuel pump on its way or the fuel pump relay

cheers guys, got a friend to have a look whilst i was at work, turned out to be a problem with the ignition, sorted for now
