vw parts warranty?
« on: 13 August 2007, 19:44 »
ok to cut a long story short i have found out using va-com that my engine speed sensor is dead on my mk3 gti 16v. on 2/8/06 this part was replaced by a vw dealer for the former owner.

i now have the vehicle and on the back of the invoice for the new sensor it says that vw garaubtee new parts fitted by them for 24 months. i was wondering if the warranty is still valid as the car has changed hands?

thanks. bunter

As I stand here with the head honcho of VW parts Reading, he says a yes!! Like the man at Del Monte!

As long as you've got the invoice, which you have - your laughing!!
