edition 30 diverter valve?

where is it :-| im prob being completly stupid, but i cant see it anywhere... i thought it was at the bottom of the engine somewhere?
any 1 inform me :D

so its mounted on the front of the engine?? i swear i read it was under somewhere....  is the location the same as the standard gti?

let us know how it performs if you do go ahead, I'm in two minds as I've read a few write ups that rate the standard valve at the same level as the forge...who know... :undecided:

Huh, are you serious?

The OEM valves are well known to be weak points.

Forge stuff is equally well known to be supremely top-notch stuff.

Most of us who have already fitted the Forge DV have done so as a precautionary measure because the stock DV is known to be potentially a weak link, especially on a remapped car with higher boost levels/demands.

Yeah I read a detailed write up (link was posted on here somewhere), where a fella had tested both in depth against each other and found no real benefit to the forge valve, although I can't really remember if he was just testing the performance improvement, and not the reliability  :undecided:.  Personally I wouldn't know either way but I'm yet to be convinced its worth while.  Besides I believe a stock DV is cheap to replace if it does go...?
