Insurance co's for mods
« on: 23 February 2004, 08:36 »
All,

Does anyone have any recommendations for good insurance companies when it comes to adding mods to your car?

I pay quite a low premium at the moment, but when I spoke to my insurance co about lowering/adding alloys they gave me quotes for what I thought to be extortionate increases.  How much extra should I expect to pay for making these (fairly minor) mods?

CIS (Co-Op insurance) dont charge you a bean for asthetic mods. Any company who charges you to lower your car is not worth there salt.

Liverpool Victoria, allow body mods, but no engine mods, and they give you one years NCB when you join ;D

Brentacre let me add more and more to my policy without increasing the premium.

They want another ?350 to drop in a 20v though.
