My Golf
« on: 31 July 2007, 00:00 »
Got this not long ago for my birthday.
Always wanted a Golf and my mums boyfriend had no space for this and gave it to me.
Sorry about the poor quality pic it was late when i took it.
Not sure what to do with the car, whether to buy new parts to make it look as original as i can or to go for a different style and make it look cool .
It's a 16v gti which is as much as i know about it so far  :undecided:.

Let me know what you think
And any ideas of what i should do
I'll add more pictures when the weather is good.

James.

Those wheels, as well as not suiting the Golf, have 'I'm here. Come and get me.' written all over them. IMHO, those would be the first things to change. You would also get decent money for them if they are in good nick.

Thanks for the replies.
The wheels arn't mine, they were just put on so it could be brought to my house. Not sure what wheels to put on yet because i don't have alot of money.
There are a few rusty and dented spots on the car and i'll be sorting them out as soon as possible.
Not sure about the engine because i'm not very good with them, hopefully my mate will help me out.
Thanks.

James

take it that ur mums bf was using it for a project haha

looks like you got a fair amount of work on your hands! but still, i'd be giggleing with joy if i got given that!

most things that you'll need will probs cost peanuts, just be prepared to spend a fair amount of time on it, and if you already have one, get rid of your gf so you have even more time...

last bit was a bit of a joke.

yeah it was a project, he has a 300zx that he just blew the engine on so he had to get rid of this andd didn't want it going to waste.

And yeah it's definately alot of work for me but i'm starting a college course in september which is motor mechanics, paint and body panel repair which will definately help me know what i'm doing.

I don't think it will be too much of a problem to find the money because i don't have my own house or bills to pay yet so thats not bad
And its ok for me because my girlfriend earns more money than me so she'll be subbing me for parts

Thanks alot

James
