changed blue temp sensor

i have just changed my temp sensor 8v pb gti and am just wondering what sort of difference it will make to the car and if it should make a difference but doesnt what else i need to check cheers

probably best to get it set up, sure there is a guide on here on how to do it

If there was nothing wrong with your old one then you will notice no difference. What are your symptoms? Rubjonny's guide to digi set up is very good, and the instructions in the Haynes are also pretty comprehensive if you have the equipment.

you should only notice a difference with cold starting and running, to notice a difference it depends how knackered the old one was!

You shouldnt need to set it up again after as all the digifant tuning is done with the blue sender disconnected, though if some muppet has been fiddling with stuff without reading up on how it should be done fist chances are the idle, co & ign timing all need to be reset ;)
