my mk3 scratches!!

Gave my car a clean yesterday an noticed some pretty bad marks and scratches all over the car. The ones in the pics below are the worst i think, the one looks like a straight forward scratch from the key of a dumb ass kid with nothing better to do an god knows what the other one is. So anyone got any tips on how i can go about gettin rid or just masking them a bit so they dont stand out so much. Would gettin one of those touch up paint things be any good? Could help with some of the stonechips on the bonnet aswell! If so where can i get one an around how much are they? And whats the paint code and colour of my car? Its a 1.4 in a funny looking purple colour! Thanks 4 any help!

the round one is a bit weird? but the big white scratch has gone down to primer so would need paint. i'd suggest a detailer rather than a 'chips away' type of person. my mate is a sprayer and they often have to correct work from these guys as 6 months down the line the work goes nasty!

had a simular one to the round one on mine recently, mine was caused by someone throwing an egg at the car, very dis-pleased! but i have a white car, so t-cut it and can just about get away with it...

Not really lookin at spendin much to sort it out like payin for it to be sprayed or whatever just more of a cheap/quick fix just so its not as noticable. Did have a go at the round one with a bit t-cut but guess i wasnt really givin it enough elbow grease may need to have another bash at it when it stops rainin !! What the best technique using t-cut for small scrathes an the like? because to be honest i dont really have a clue lol!

I've seen scratches been taken care of with a good polish and some elbow grease. Made a lot easier using a porter cable 7424 http://www.autopia-carcare.com/inf-pc7424.html

You can get some amazing results if done correctly.

However like ...joe said that one scratch looks pretty deep might need respraying

Dunno if this helps, but your car looks like its the same colour as mine - Twilight Violet (Paint code: LC4T). Halfords do a touch up kit that comes with a very fine pen nozzle (like the tipp-ex pens) that might work fir the deep scratch. However, at my local Halfords they dont do Twilight Violet so they may or may not at others.
