VDO Gauges now Fitted!
« on: 26 July 2007, 13:08 »
Well here they are.. finally!

Hope you like!

Can some nice chap please confirm that they are reading OK!

The readings shown are at idle, with the MFA temp reading 60, the VDO gauge looks similar. The oil pressure guage flys up to 4.5ish bar when you rev over 1800 rpm ish. Does this sound about right??

I'm looking at wiring in an oil pressure gauge - probably a duostlying one. Could you tell me what wiring is involved in wiring an Oil pressure gauge and to which sender did you attatch it?

Also was it one of these you used from eBay?

to wire in the oil pressure guage you need a dual pole sender that replaces either the low or high pressure oil switch. This gives you the std. oil pressure warning light and buzzer, and a seperate terminal for your gauge.

then ignition live and ground - peice of P
