I've had three systems fitted to MK5 Golfs now, the first was £170 all in the other two £150 all in, it now takes my dealer less than 1 hour.

When I bought my GTi the supplying dealer Birmingham VW said they couldn't do it  :angry:

But then again they were a bunch of Flanges, as they left my transport blocks in.

am getting mine done for the simple reason the car carries its speed so well, you piss a ton with ease...

i commute a few miles too and from work so i need to be able to set the car at about 80-85 and sit back...

i keep looking down and seeing numbers that i shouldnt be..license keeper and all that.

i personally find the best place for having cruise is in the average speed check zones, if you've got sat nav then you can just set it to 49 mph and laugh as you drive pass all the mugs trying to keep an average speed.

scarily so....its an eerie place to be at the wrong speed....

so much of a step on from the mk4....i dont need cruise in my csl cos at 85, there is a sweet spot on the racing pipe, where it goes quite quiet, after that the 4 horsemen of apocalype start roaring again....

am looking froward to gliding along at 85 in the golf, without the fear of retribution from said plod.
