Retro fitted cruise
« on: 24 July 2007, 19:24 »
Just been quoted £225  to have cruise control fitted to my car by the stealer from Wigan.
The workshop say that it is a big job and that it may not be possible to fit to my GTi - they will need to further investigate.

Is he having a larf? Do I go elsewhere?
Golf GTi :), DSG :), Deep black pearl :), forgot to order the xenons :(, winter pack :)

ATTN - another post hi-jack

Phope - I saw an 07 plate white ED30 on its way out of Aberdeen (heading South on the A90) just before the Shell garage on Friday night just past; was it you?  Must have been about 5.30-6.00 pm-ish.

I was on my way into Aberdeen to visit the in-laws.

I also saw an 07 plate white ED30 heading North on the A90 (not sure if it was the same car) on Sunday afternoon.

I was on my way back to Glasgow - in-law visit completed.

Mine was put on by dealer as part of deal, I think they discounted the parts/work down on their copy of the invoice to £80, but listed it on my copy as £150. Foreman in workshop told sales manager that job was a piece of pi** and would take no more than an hour, I guess I wasn't supposed to hear that bit
Before: GTI Reflex Silver, DSG, Leather, BBS VZ 18's, Cruise, Ipod. Now A4 Sline SE 220 Avant quattro.
