Got all the bits to do this from Ipodcarkitdirect. Also have the appropriate radio removal keys - just not sure how to use them and don't want to scratch / knacker the head unit...

Beginning to think that this might be more af a task than I thought.

Any advice much appreciated.

Nah, it's easy..

Follow the instructions in the sticky for fitting a hands free kit! It shows all the steps for removing the radio.

One thing I would add is... DO NOT DISCONNECT THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT UNDER THE HAZARD SWITCH! you will have to go to the dealer to have the light put out if you do! There is enough room to keep it connected and place the trim on the dash

Just a small point,

if you want to disconnect the airbag warning light make sure the key is not in the ignition and that you dont put it in and turn it on until the airbag warnig light is reconnected. That way the fault does not occur.

I think the worst time to have a heart attack is during a game of charades. Especially if your teammates are bad guessers.
